Pick a year to see where we went and what we did.
We're getting the urge to plan a trip starting in the spring. And I'm hopeful that we can! God willin' and the creek don't rise.
A friend gave me this and oh boy is it true;
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body...but rather to skid in broadside...thoroughly worn out and loudly proclclaiming:
WOW! What a ride!
Well, the scenic photo tour of the moon is as yet unavailable, so we may go to Ireland instead, as well as traveling around the U.S. Who knows, we may even surprise ourselves on where we end up.
I wrote this at the beginning of 2006. Well, we certainly surprised ourselves! ;o)
We've always been so healthy that I guess I thought it would never end. And if you want to give God a good chuckle...just tell Him YOUR plans! (smile)
I had open heart surgery in May for the replacement of my aortic valve and things did not go well post operatively. So a good deal of the year has been 'traveling' in and out of hospitals.
I am, however, slowly recovering and am hopeful we can start out again in 2007
We went on a photo tour of England in May and spent the summer in Colorado. We also did a photo tour of Red Rock Country in Northern Arizona, and Southern Utah.
