Avebury has the largest stone circle in the world. They run 1401 feet in diameter and cover 28 acres.The little village and surrounding farms are built right in among the stones.

I wonder if on some moonlit nights you can see the shadows of history slip silently by? It felt like that kind of 'fanciful' place to me.
