The Windsor Parish Church is in the middle of town and while we were poking around the old grave markers beside it, this kind gentleman came up and said "I'll be closing the church in a short while and if you'd like to peek inside first I'd be glad to show it to you."

We were to find this friendliness everywhere we went in England.

It turned out he was the 'bell ringer'. And on Sunday, when the joyful sound of bells rang out over the city, we smiled because we knew who was ringing them!
